Governance Overview
The TUG governance system is designed to empower community members with decision-making authority, ensuring the platform’s decentralized development. All holders of TUG PASS NFTs automatically become part of the TUG DAO, granting them proposal and voting rights.
Governance Structure
TUG’s governance framework consists of the following key components:
Strategic Layer
TUG DAO: Comprising all PASS holders, this body is the core of community governance, responsible for discussing and voting on proposals.
Executive Layer
TUG Foundation: Acting as the DAO’s executive arm, the Foundation oversees daily operations and implements DAO decisions, ensuring effective execution of community proposals.
Management Layer
Special Council: A group of 5 members elected by the community, serving 6-month terms. The Council supervises the Foundation’s operations, ensuring alignment with DAO decisions and community interests.
Proposal Process
TUG’s proposal process is structured to ensure transparency and efficiency:
Proposal Submission: Any PASS holder can submit a proposal via the community forum, providing detailed information on the proposal’s content and expected impact.
Community Discussion: Proposals are openly discussed on the forum for a 7-day period, allowing community members to provide feedback.
Committee Review: The Special Council reviews proposals for compliance and feasibility, ensuring adherence to community guidelines and legal standards.
Voting: Approved proposals are submitted to the Snapshot platform, where all PASS holders vote over a 7-day period.
Implementation: Proposals that pass the vote are executed by the TUG Foundation, with regular progress updates provided to the community.
